Adding Cozmo SDK to Raspbian Jessie (piAware)

First-things-first, install Python 3 – Adding Python3 to piAware

After that, and in general, use this – http://cozmosdk.anki.com/docs/install-linux.html#ubuntu-14-04
Some changes:

1) For step 3 (install Tkinter) I had to install tkinter3 (not 3.5) e.g. – sudo apt-get install python3-tk

2) Install JPEG libraries (I want to process images from Cozmo’s camera) – sudo apt-get install libjpeg-dev

3) Install unzip – sudo apt-get install unzip

4) Install the SDK (and sleep till it gets done…) – http://cozmosdk.anki.com/docs/install-linux.html#sdk-installation

5) Install the Android Platform Tools (ADB, etc.) – apt-get install android-tools-adb

6) Install flask for Python3 – pip3 install –user flask

7) Enable debugging on your Android phone –¬†http://cozmosdk.anki.com/docs/adb.html#final-install

8) Start up the Cozmo SDK – http://cozmosdk.anki.com/docs/getstarted.html#starting-up-the-sdk

9) Try running some of the examples – http://cozmosdk.anki.com/docs/downloads.html#sdk-examples

10) If you’re bold, try these – https://github.com/touretzkyds/cozmo-tools

Enjoy!
